01 How it works

Three fields in your miner. That is the whole setup.

  1. 01

Pick a scheme, point your miner

Enter stratum+tcp://stratum.zprominers.com:3333 for SOLO, or the port of PROP or PPLNS. Vardiff tunes the share difficulty to your machine within minutes.

  2. 02

    Your t-address is your login

Use your transparent Zcash address as the worker name, plus an optional .rigname. No account, no email, no password to remember.

  3. 03

    Rewards land in the coinbase

When the pool finds a block, its coinbase writes the rewards straight to miners' addresses: to the finder in SOLO, split by shares in PROP and PPLNS. They mature after 100 confirmations, about two hours.

02 Payout schemes

One pool. Your choice of rewards.

SOLO, PROP and PPLNS are live, each with its own ports and live stats. PPS+ and PARTY are on the way.

06 Questions

The short answers

All questions →
Which payout scheme should I choose?

Choose SOLO if you run a large farm or enjoy the lottery: every block you find is yours. Choose PPLNS for steady rewards from almost every pool block. PROP splits each round by its shares and is the simplest pooled scheme. PPS+ and PARTY are coming soon. Compare them in our guide to payout schemes.

What is solo mining?

Your hashrate works on its own. You do not share your blocks and nobody shares theirs with you. When your miner finds a block, the miner reward minus the 2% fee belongs to you; until then you receive nothing. It suits miners who prefer a large, occasional reward over a steady trickle.

How does the reward reach me?

Directly through the block itself. In SOLO, the coinbase of every block you find sends 98% of the miner reward to your t-address and 2% to the pool fee output. In PROP and PPLNS, the coinbase splits the reward across every contributing miner's address, and a slice under 0.0005 ZEC is carried over and added to your next payout, so each output is worth shielding and nothing is lost. There is never anything to withdraw.

Why only transparent coinbase payouts?

We only support direct transparent coinbase payouts, so every reward stays public and auditable on chain. The worker name must therefore be a t1 or t3 address: unified (u1…) and shielded (zs1…) addresses do not work as a username. You can shield the coins in your own wallet once they mature. Read more about transparent vs shielded transactions.

My exchange did not credit a mining reward. What now?

Some exchanges do not accept coinbase deposits. Mine to a wallet whose keys you hold, let the reward mature, then send it on as a normal transaction. Our guide explains what to do when an exchange rejects mining rewards.
